Enzonis

When I think of Summer 2025, I’ll think of these cocktails. Enzonis. What we enjoyed to close out the work day + a cocktail seemed like an appropriate treat, and what we often closed out a Sunday at home with. Always enjoyed sitting on the deck or prepping Sunday dinners. It’s delicious + tasty. A perfect balance of bitter + sweet. It’s also a cocktail that will forever remind me of peak relaxation that I seem to only be able to experience during a PNW Summer.

The key ingredient - cotton candy grapes. A supreme green grape that delivers on actually tasting like cotton candy. Like actually. Super sweet, juicy, & ridiculously addicting. They’re at the heart of the cocktail - muddled up with fresh lemon juice + simple syrup - and used as a garnish to make it all come together. Plus the color pop against the bright red cocktail - how could you not?

Rocks glass. Big ice cube. Fresh cotton candy grapes. It’s all you need to make sure this cocktail is nothing but perfect.

For the drink (makes 1)

  • 5 green grapes (cotton candy grapes preferred)

  • 1 oz. gin

  • 1 oz. campari

  • 0.75 oz. lemon juice

  • 0.5 oz. simple syrup

  • 3 green grapes, skewered to garnish

Add the green grapes to a shaker. Muddle them up. Add in the gin, campari, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Shake it all up with ice. Add a big ice cube to a rocks glass + strain the cocktail into the glass. Garnish with the skewered grapes. Voila!
